Ateljé Kim Ritthagen

I work mainly with stoneware, sometimes with porcelain. I am very inspired of the nature, the woods, the ocean, water, flowers, animals but also of the human face. Working with engobes( colored clay)make it possible for me to highlight the surface both in depth and color. Particularly together with a transparent glaze. I like round forms and thus I prefer, in sculptures, expressing the woman. Even the birds and horses have a "rondeur", almost chubby. I want to share the joy of creation with other people.
